Asda? Really?

I was in ASDA the other day and noticed they had some really nice clothes for some really affordable prices. I hardly ever look at the clothes in food shops (usually because I don't go to the big massive ones) but I was pleasantly surprised.

It was this beauty that drew me over to the clothes section in the first place.

I really liked the colour of this and thought it was lovely for summer for wearing with jeans or a skirt.

I also found this really pretty skirt.

I just really liked the pattern more than anything else and it's not too short either so if another heat wave hits it can be respectfully worn without tights.

The last thing was this playsuit thing majig bob.

Again it was the pattern that made me want this.

I was really surprised by how many nice things they had. Get to Asda people :) Hope you are all well xxx

Nails Nails Nails

Remember I said I had loads of posts well I decided today was the day to gather all the nail posts and shove them in one long post.

So I bought Models Own Indian Ocean at some point last semester and after looking around it seemed it was better worn layered over another colour.

So this is were OPI do you lilac it? came in. I have to say I do really love this colour. It so glossy when it goes on it's just beautiful.

So Indian Ocean... Oh look at the shimmer. It soooo pweeety.

It was a good idea to layer it. It looked really really nice!

I had quite a few compliments on my nails. It's such a nice shimmery colour. Go buy it now shoo.

 Max Factor Odyssey. I adore this colour! It's so vibrant and it has just the right amount of shimmer in it. It also the perfect colour of dark blue not quite navy.

 As per usual I can't have all my nails the same colour so thumb and ring finger were painted in Barry M pure turquoise.

Definitely a winning combination :)

Summer is Here

I have literally fallen off the edge of the blogosphere haven’t I? It is shocking. However as per I have a multitude of excuses which include exams, the weather (it’s been beautiful), packing to come home (wait till you see the photos). 

I went for a walk around the campus on one of the last days before coming home and I never really funny appreciate how beautiful my campus is. With the loch and all the tress it really is stunning.

We had to take a photo of the "thin ice". It was so hot I felt like I was literally melting. Trust me it was too hot for a ginger! Thin ice... ridiculous. 

So I mentioned I'd have some exciting packing photos. We had a radiator leakage problem in my bedroom so all of my stuff had to be removed. I mean EVERYTHING. So it has all gone from my room into my brothers room....

So his room is a TIP.

But then look at my room!! It's a barren waste ground with a bed in it... horrible. Now my mother has used this as an excuse to do it up. I think she is going for purple. I just want a nice comfy bed to sleep in ( my current one sound like its crying when I get in). 

Onto the next problem... This is my Uni unpacking. 

So I need more space! Or less stuff. Preferably more space :)

Nailing it : Barry M : blue moon & mint green

Oh good grief! Right I've been away due to mega exam stress (seriously I've been jittery and practically sick :P ) but that's two out of the way I had one today and one yesterday just Trusts and Succession on Monday. Everybody PANIC.

Ahhh mint green... Quite possibly my favourite colour :) renamed by one of my friend's as minging green.

As per usual for me at the moment I painted my thumb and left ring finger in a different colour (blue moon).

I don't know but I just love this colour!

It's always really shiny when it applies and looks so nice, I don't know if it's because I'm pale but the colour is always quite striking on my hands.

Blue moon is annoying, in one coat you can barely tell it's there but in two its nice :) but I don't think I like this anywhere near as much as mint green.

Benefit Goodies :)

I decided to treat myself to a few discounted benefit goodies. I've been wanting the Dandelion blush for aaaages and decided to increase my small bronzer collection (I have one) by purchasing the Hoola bronzer.

Pretty in their boxes :)

This blush looks so different in the different lights.

This is it more in the shade and it is a really pale but pretty shimmery blush.

It doesn't actually go on with a lot of shimmer but it's soooo pretty :)

The photos I've got of the bronzer actually makes it look pretty pink...

Except this one it looks fairly dark here. It's such a lovely colour :)

This is me trying to get a photo in the light, thankfully there's no shimmer in this (hate shimmery bronzers!)

Nail meeee : Tuscan Sun

I really cannot decide if I like this colour it's just not quite orange or red or brown. Who knows. Although in fairness it looks sort of pink. I don't know.

In the pictures it looks more like an "antique rose" colour.

What I will say is it is very shiny (even before the top coat) and because it's Revlon (good brand :) it's not chipped in three days ( trust me this is a record for me). 

I'm not a massive fan of the colour, oddly enough the boyfriend is. Bizarre.

Elizabeth Arden : Perfect Red

Ooooooh so exciting. This was £6.40 from cheap smells and it actually the nicest feeling lipstick I've ever worn.

Oh lordy it's so pretty! It's red and scrummy!

In different lights it changes between very red and very pink. It's odd. But I does look stunning.

See what I mean about it looking red and then pink. It's just the light but trust me it's red with a slight pink tint but its stunning. It stays on for hours even through eating and drinking. I love it!
