Hold me back from the shops ladies!

The day after I was at River Island I went to one of the big shopping centres in Edinburgh solely for the purpose of trying on Uggs in schuh. We (mother and I) figure once the foot has healed they will be comfiest.

However, in the end I got boots that I guess look a bit like Uggs but are called "Fit Flops". They are honestly so strange because they have a slightly curved sole, kind of like my moot boot. Very comfy though! Fraction of the price too :)

I also somehow managed to pick up a top from Warehouse which I think was £25;

I wasn't even particularly looking for anything but I just saw this and it really stood out because of the lace at the top.

And the tassel bits at the bottom are rather cute. It's really pretty on, I was worried the material was going to be clingy but it's not and it hangs really well.

I also got a jumper. This is my new favourite piece of clothing. It's from Joy and was £35 if I hadn't fallen hook, line and sinker for it I wouldn't have got it. But it's soooo pretty.

I love the colour! And it's really warm :) It's beautiful.

Bye my lovlies x x x

River Island Haul

I managed to haul myself to the shops (thank god) crutches and all, ahh the sympathy looks. I ended up having a nice splurge in River Island.

I tried on a beautiful brown/black patterned blouse, it was stunning. However it was £30 and then I saw this for £35;

Haven't had a new bag in ages. It was about time. It's laaavely! I'm really loving the blue and white stripes with brown leather, I've seen a few bags similar and I think they're gorgeous. I was actually surprised this was £35 because sometimes River Island can be really expensive for what you're getting.

I also (as it was quiet and therefore not stressful; no women hitting you with handbags) had a peruse of the sale rack and picked up these two little lovelies;

The wee faun t-shirt that says "where do we go from here?" was just £5 and you can never have too many t-shirts. The hoody was £12 and every time I'm going to T in the Park or any other festival I always realise I don't have enough big comfy hoodies, so this whilst being a bit too big (obviously they didn't have a 10 or 12, only an 8 or 14) will be perfect for festivals and bumming around the house.

I also picked up in the sale a pair of boots. I have the exact same pair in black/grey and wear them all the time and these were reduced to £15 so an absolute steal as they are normally £65.

They're so pretty :) I forgot how tight they were at the top when I first got them mine are all loose now. I wore the left one the other day, have to say I'm sure sure how much brown goes with black chunky moon boot.

Last thing, promise, I got a new going out dress. I saw this online and fell for it. It was only £30 and my mother liked it too.

I just really loved the cut of this dress at the top, and the lace. It's gorgeous and really nice on. It's lace down the back as well, it's a bit different to most of the lace dresses around that I've seen. I shall be wearing it to my friend's 20th. I'm hobbling to the pub (where if I get steaming drunk the boyfriend will be there to chivalrously carry me home).

That's all folks ;) xxx

Lusting over shoes

When the ability to walk is back under my command I desperately need a new pair of black heels. It's annoying how the sales are right now... cue broken foot, and not being able to try on shoes, of course the massive limp is in style this season!

I like shoes with a bit of a quirk and these caught my eye whilst on the Schuh website;

They were £68 but are now reduced to £44.99 online here. I don't like plain black shoes but these are plain with just something else to spice them up, to be honest most people wouldn't even notice it. But I know it's there.

On a more luxurious note, if I had a spare £80 to spend on shoes that are most definitely not to everyone's taste I would buy these beauties;

Irregular Choice shoes are my achilles heel. They make me weak. It's like I can see they are odd and yet I still think... I love you.

Schuh tend to have a few of their styles in and I always fall for one.

Guess it's a good thing I won't be wearing heels for a couple months :(

Crazy Shopping

I have literally been buying far too much. I think I have an addiction/problem most likely owing to exams approaching and my need to release the tension.

Annoyingly due to the ridiculously crap Scottish weather (being dark for 80% of the day) I have only been able to get one good(ish) photo and that is off this lovely H&M jumper;

I think it was only about £10 and is super cosy. I absolutely love the neckline :) I'm loving being able to justify spending lots of money on warm jumpers because of the freezing weather.

I will try to get some decent photos in the 2 hours of daylight we get of my other things.

I also waxed (veet) my legs for the first time yesterday (DON'T DO IT!!!) okay it wasn't soooo bad but gah. Don't think it's for me. Right I'm off to revise (Watch Julie & Julia).

Take care x x x

Must be Winter

So my River Island jumper arrived (Still waiting for H&M grrrrr) and I thought I'd share it with the blogosphere.

I also (finally) found the perfect big jumper with the peeeerfect buttons I've been looking for for literally months.

So firstly to the River Island beeeeautiful Cowl neck jumper mabob thing :P....

I think this was a sale item and was £12 and for me the only annoying thing about it is the lack of sleeves. Apart from that I love it, especially the turquoise colour and the neck its just mmm :)

As for the Primark jumper... well its Primark so obviously they only had sizes 16 and 20. No 12s and no 14s useless. But I decided for the perfect buttons and the fact I'd been looking for sooooo(ooooooooo) long I should really just go for it. And I'm very glad I did as it's super cosy.

It is fairly big but I'm never really going to have it buttoned up so...

As for the buttons... drum roll....

ooft are they not just puurrrrfect?

Ah I Love it. This was also £12 which for primark I thought was a bit above the usual? But then I've not really been in there for a while.

I also picked up something else I've been looking for...

Nothing too exciting just some £2.50 woolly tight... winter :)

I had also planned to show you more Kate Moss lipsticks I picked up (I think I have a problem) and some nail varnishes (okaaaaay two problems) but the lighting today is ridiculously bad. Stupid Scotland getting dark at like two in the afternoon.

oh well :) Take care x x
