MUA Haul

Seriously, this is my last haul. No more online orders and I'm pretty sure I won't be near any shops anytime soon.

I will apologise in advance for the slightly (very) shoddy camera work, my only excuse is that in Scotland we don't get real sunlight.

This is a photo of the complete works :)

So I finally caved and bought the 'Heaven and Earth' Palette and am wearing it today. I won't bog down this post with swatches as the blogosphere is littered with them :P

I am looooving the colours in the bottom left and top right. I've been so tempted to buy the Naked Palette but I think considering how many browns I have in general it would be a waste of money.

I also (having heard many good things) bought the Immaculate Palette, £8 for 24 colours. Good price indeedy.

I'm subscribed to the MUA blog (click here) and they often use this eyeliner for nail designs. I think it was £1 so hopefully it'll work if not then it was a huge amount to have wasted.

And lastly, I couldn't resist buying some varnishes. I think I may need some sort of counselling to help me through this addiction.

So that is my haul, last one for a while (or at least till I go back to Uni) :P

Have a good day my chums x x x

P.S Wrote this a few days ago I am now back in the Shire :D but am shooting off to Glasgow to celebrate my friends 20th massively excited! Hopefully tomorrow when I'm hungover and dying I'll get some blog posts written :) Take care xxx

She who waits...

Having a broken foot does have it's benefits.... Which happens to be a Benefit product;

I can't tell you how long I've wanted this. I had to choose between this and Benetint last time. But lucky for me mum has boots points.

I've wanted a highlighter for aaaages, sometimes I think just a little bit of blusher and highlighter looks much more elegant than lots of blush and this is really beautiful! I'm so grateful to my mother for splurging on the £18.50 ( I think) which she could have spend on herself.

It's a lovely creamy texture and is really blendable I think it would be easy to mix with foundation, but I've just been putting it on top. It does have a slight shimmer but nothing over the top or obvious, just enough to catch the light. It's gorgeous!

I've been on a bit of a shopping splurge recently so expect hauls :)
Goodbye my chums hope you're all well! xxx

What's that wonderful smell?

Oh it's just me :)

Because I am, lets face it, a technical genius, I (somehow) managed to figure out how to get the blooming laptop to flip photos round. Hells yeah! So, yes it's a shitty camera and not my lovely new one but at least photos are the right way (so stop complaining you!)

Anyway...

Mandarin and Mint. Odd smell there, but I have to admit I think It smells delicious. The best bit about this is that it foams!

Remember how excited you got when you were little and the bathroom had foaming soap!?!? It's like that EVERY time you shower except this smells about 150 times better!!! I love the slightly odd smell it's definitely more fruity than minty. It's delicious!

£6.50 is not a bad price considering how little you have to use, treat yourself :)

NAIL me anytime : Razzle Dazzle

So in last months glossy box I'm sure the whole world and his dog is aware we received Deborah Lipmann's Razzle Dazzle:

Yes I do know its the wrong way round :| Blame the computer

It really is rather lovely!

I was so excited when I found out this was one of the products and soooo unbelievably annoyed when it arrived the day after I got home from university. Sigh. That my chumlets is my life... (I'm allowed to be self-pitting I can't walk!)

I love nail varishes with big glitter, never really been a huuuuge fan of small glitter it sort of reminds me of being a kid wearing sparkly polish. But this is lovely:

It's quite sheer when it's on in one coat but in two is a lovely maroon/wine colour. It's gorgeous! I'm assuming it's just me and my (ridiculously) bad habit of biting and picking at my nails but this started chipping in just 2 days, but for this I shall happily blame myself.

I don't know if I (as a scrounging student) would pay the RRP of £16.00... I don't think so but then I'm reluctant to pay over a fiver for any nail varnish. Overall I'm mighty glad we got the chance to try this!

Loving it glossy box!!

xx

Smell me baby ;)

I was perusing Boots the other day and I went over to check how much my favourite Flake Away by Soap & Glory and I saw this little beauty:

I cannot describe how amazing this smells to me! It is absolutely delish! The Lime in it (in my expert opinion) makes it smell amazing.

It is £8.00 from Boots

I really think I will have to go treat myself. Or perhaps due to my broken foot I'll order it online and wait for it to get to me :) It truly smells amazing, possibly better than the other two scrubs... Think I'll need to get it and get back to you on that.

Stay smelling beautiful!

Carmine Vs Glossybox

Firstly I (one again...sigh) apologise for shoddy photos, but what you have to know is that in Scotland once it gets "light" it suddenly decides its had enough of that nonsense and starts to get dark again. But yes, I apologise for bad photo... again.

As we all know there hundreds (well about 8) glossy box type things on the market such as the feel unique beauty box which is I think £9.95, the Carmine beauty box which is £12.75 and the glossy box which is £12.95 a pop.

So price difference isn't huge and I'd imagine the others are fairly similar.

So I think I've been subscribed to Glossybox for about 3 months. I decided to wait till I came to uni so I wouldn't have to change my address (hassle... yes I'm lazy).

(yes I know it looks orange but trust me it's pink)

I'm have to say the boxes are just as exciting as the stuff inside them, you can totally imagine keeping love letters in them... if your boyfriend was romantic enough to write love letters...

So in mine I got the 'cooling foot créme'. All I'll say is I hate feet.
I also received the 'Dead sea spa magik' haven't used it yet as no bath in lovely (crappy) uni accommodation, I shall however use these when I get home.
The 'Monu skin perfector' well we shall see, I'll keep you posted as to whether I become perfect in the near future.
Nail wraps... Not so keen. I like painting my nails, I'm obsessed with nail polish but as a nail biter (so sue me) I doubt I've be using these... christmas present anyone?
Lastly (and a very surprising favourite) 'Serge Lutens" perfume. There was a light one and a dark one (kindly given to my boyfriend) but they were both gorgeous yet when I looked online they are soooo expensive its incredibly sad.

Now as mention in a previous post I recently waxed my legs. This was not nice. BUT the problem with this was I had to let my leg hair grow..... I am NOT a hairy legs person. As a past swimmer I do not condone hairy legs.

So, one night feeling hairy me and the boyfriend were suppose to watch a film. But when I got out the shower (so badly wanted to shave) it turned out he'd forgotten about some crappy ultimate frisbee pub quiz. Yes ladies I was ditched for frisbee. So as I'm sure you can imagine I was feeling dumped, ugly, and very, very hairy. So I accidentally (on purpose) bought;

whooooops

Obviously with Carmine you know what you are getting before it arrives so I kind of already thought about giving some of it away as christmas presents (stop thinking I'm cheap! I'm a student!)

So there was 'Flashback Night Cream' stocking filler for the mother? Hmmmm.
"I-pout lipstick' online this looked very red so I thought perfect present for my brothers girlfriend. But no it's a bit more brown in really life. Soooo.... what a pickle.... It's so cool it has a mirror and a light... aweeeeesome!!
'Dainty Doll' eyeliner pencil. This is most definitely for me. It's green, I'm ginger its a match made in heaven.
'Neom organics, Real luxury'. Again brothers girlfriend? It smells lovely and looks nice and expensive which is always key.
Lastly the 'A la Carté brow ink' which is apparently very good as an eyeliner which is good because I need a good brown eyeliner and this is lovely.

So out of the two this month Carmine is definitely the winner.

But I literally do not know what to do. Keep them both? EXPENSIVE!!! Or get rid of one... but which?

HELP!!! Woman in need!

Love xxx
