Essentials shopping...

And an extra or two :)

I'm off to a friend's 20th on Sunday (sooo excited, apart from the brief panic of having to dress up as farm animal...wtf? Don't worry it's been sorted aka not happening) and my current pumps (or flats depending on which country you are hailing from) are probably about a 500 meter walk from the soles falling off.

Side notes, does anyone resent how little wear you get out of £30 pumps/flats compared to say converses which are about £40 or even bigger boots which are maybe more like £60 but last years? Maybe it's my student tight-pocketness but this annoys me.

So, anyway... I bought these.

These were £25 from Next which I have to say I was surprised about. I saw a pair of kind of plastic-y looking pumps that were £30 so I expected these to be more.

MASSIVE feet. Why God cursed me with skis for feet is as yet unknown.

These are the tassel bits at the front. I actually really like them although they are completely different from what I'd normally buy when looking for flat shoes.

Another (boring) necessity was some deodorant (I decided not to bore you with photos) and instead took photos of;

Finally got my hands on Sugar Crush by Soap and Glory BUT I have banned myself from touching (except the odd sniff) it until my flake away is finished. Boots currently have a three for two and so I got my friend's Birthday presents and a cheeky treat for myself.

This one didn't want to photograph well. The Palmers Cocoa Butter Lip Balm. I might do a review of this soon because so far I'm loving it! Smells delicious too ;)

I was perusing Boots the other day and I went over to check how much my favourite Flake Away by Soap & Glory and I saw this little beauty:

I cannot describe how amazing this smells to me! It is absolutely delish! The Lime in it (in my expert opinion) makes it smell amazing. 

It is £8.00 from Boots . 

I really think I will have to go treat myself. Or perhaps due to my broken foot I'll order it online and wait for it to get to me :) It truly smells amazing, possibly better than the other two scrubs... Think I'll need to get it and get back to you on that.

The relief of passing my exams has made me go mental. I was thinking of going to bed and reading Sherlock Holmes but then I decided I'd very quickly do a post on my favourite Soap and Glory products.

I can honestly say these are the only two body products (besides the usual; E45, shaving foam yada yada) that I would always repurchase and my loving mother kindly bought me a new;

Smells divine! It's amazing and leaves my skin feeling so soft and smelling delicious.

Even opening it in my room to take a photo let out the beautiful scent. I swear if it didn't have a warning on it I would probably eat it :p
It is currently £9.45 at boots . So if you are literally the last person in the whole world to try this then go on, its just been Christmas!

Trust me when I say no one wants to see the condition of my Flake Away. It's been "well loved" and I really really do. If it's possible I think it smells even better and makes my legs feel like they've already been moisturised. This product is amazing. 

If you haven't tried either of these then go do it. They are amazing!

Mini Boots Haul

Essays result in mad online shopping :| Which I cannot afford trust me. Expect River Island and H&M posts soon.

But onto the Boots stuff that I can't afford but bought anyway. Late nights writing essays do this to me, however, the third one has been handed in it's DONE! Boom!

Firstly, I shall show Rimmel's Kate Moss lipstick I bought the other day. I Love this lipstick! I think it really suits me (pale ginger over here :( difficult colouring) so it's a lovely colour I can wear lightly during the day;

 It really is a lovely colour, its a perfect mix of brown and pink.

(attempted swatch but the camera just growled) 

So onto far more exciting things I decided to buy Soap and Glory's Lid Stuff. I have to say it is a good as they say. 

The colours are; Top left: Vanilla, Top Right: Pink T, Bottom Left: Mudhoney, Bottom Right: Aubersheen. 

They are lovely but I'd have to say the vanilla is difficult to build up you have to take a lot of it to get the colour, but then it is a light colour. They are very smooth, soft and will definitely be easy to blend which is an absolute essential. So for me this is a top product and I'm very pleased I parted with £10 to buy it. 

I also got (recommended by a friend) Models Own lip balm in Blackberry;

 It looks really dark in the pot and this scares the ginger in me but the swatch reassures me that it doesn't come out so highly pigmented.

So that's my mini haul. I did buy a nail varnish but it wasn't very nice :( bad times. 

I also meant for my next post to be about my Rifles gig that I went to on Saturday but I just got too excited by my Boots arrival. Oh well.
